Summer is always a special season for Hicks & Brown. Not only does the British countryside come alive in wondrous new ways, but it’s when our team hits the road to spend time with customers and friends from other brands at the wonderful country shows. And one show that always excites us is the Game Fair. It’s commonly known as the ‘festival of the countryside’ and if you’ve been before, you’ll know why!
Returning to the Game Fair this year feels even more significant than usual, as it’s where we’ll be launching our new striking new Baker Boy cap style and raising money for the Game Fair's 2023 charity partner, The Country Food Trust.
If you haven’t heard of The Country Food Trust before, it is a charity that’s been raising funds since 2015 to provide high protein, low-fat meals for people in need. Every year, it aims to donate an impressive one million game-based meals to people across the country. In a time when 13.4 million people in the UK are living in households below the poverty line, this charity’s work couldn’t be more pressing.
As well as supplying nutritious meals, the Trust donates surplus raw meat from estates and shoots to community kitchens, as well as to larger food banks with the relevant storage and cooking facilities.
To date, the trust has already delivered over 2, 000,000 meals but there’s more that can be done. So, this summer we want to support this cause with the help of our new Felsham Baker Boy cap!

We’re excited to announce that the Felsham Tweed Baker Boy Cap in Brown will go live on the Hicks & Brown website from 12pm Thursday 27th July.
From the 27th until 30th July 10% of profits from the sales of this new colourway will go to The Country Food Trust. Alongside this, the charity donation will be live for the duration of the Game Fair event - 27th until 30th July. Wishing you all a wonderful summer!
