New to Hicks & Brown? Need a little clarification on the difference between all our hat styles? We've put together a handy guide to help you decide which is the style for you.

Our Suffolk, Aldeburgh, Orford and Chelsworth Fedoras are made from the same hat mould, they are all easy going styles which suit all face shapes.

  • The Suffolk is our bestselling range, an incredibly comfortable hat to wear, available in many colours and feather options finished with a leather hat band
  • The Aldeburgh and Orford are our summer Fedoras, made in the same shape as our wool felt hats, these provide a light weight breathable hat to wear during the summer
  • The Chelsworth is our most luxurious hat, it's fully lined inside and features a sumptuous velvet hatband with incredible feathers. A true head turner.

The Oxley and the Hemley are our wide brimmed hats, the Oxley is made from wool felt and the Hemley is our summer version featuring the same wide brim shape, just made from paper straw providing an ideal way to keep the sun off your face in the warmer months.

Our Wingfield Trilby has a shallower crown compared to our Fedoras and a narrower brim. Great teamed with a tailored coat on a raceday.

The Felsham and Hengrave Baker boy caps are the same shape and fit, the Felsham made from tweed whereas the Hengrave is made using a wax cotton providing a water resistance option to the range. Both these styles can be worn by women and men.
